This is a responce to a false teaching known as 'British-Israelism'.

This is a real message send on an Christian email discusion group by a pastor about 'British-Israelism', which he believed was correct.

My responce to this is:

 

Lets have a look at this theory.

This teaching is known as 'British-Israelism'. British-Israelism, or Anglo-Israelism, is a theory that identifies the Anglo-Saxon race with the Ten Lost Tribes of Israel. It is said that promises given to Israel in Scripture will be fulfilled in Britain, America, and other Anglo-Saxon countries.

 

They claim that round about 1500 B.C.E., there was interaction between the Tribe of Dan and Ireland. The Tribe of Dan was a seafaring tribe (Judges 5:17), and it is suggested that they traded with and moved to Greece. Later, it is suggested that they moved to Ireland. They are equated with the Tuatha Dé Danann described in the Irish Book of Invasions (although this was written ninth century C.E.).

 

NOTE: 1500 BCE but Acuratly recorded in the 9th Centh?? MYTH and FABEL but no proof of any reliable source.

Second, British-Israelists suggest that about 580 B.C.E., the Throne of David was transferred from Israel to Ireland.

 

(WHERE IN SCRIPTURE DO WE READ THIS??).

 

The daughters of King Zedekiah, escaping the Babylonian captivity of Judah, were taken to Egypt by Jeremiah and his scribe Baruch (Jeremiah 43:4-7). It is suggested that they made their way for Spain, and from there to Ireland. It is said that one of the daughters, Tamar Tephi, married the Irish King Eochaidh (who also was allegedly Judean). Allegedly, Tamar Tephi took with her from Palestine 'Jacob's Pillar', identified today with the coronation stone in Westminster Abbey. The current British monarchs, who are said to be the successors of Tamar Tephi and Eochaidh, are therefore considered the Kings and Queens of Israel.

 

NOTE: No Biblical evidence what so ever, but the IMPLICATION is that the MESSIAH comes from the Royal house of England (Windsor). in otherwords, Prince Charles or Prince William (is) could be the Messiah!!!! (Because the royal house was transefered before Yeshua came). (I am aware that they do not teach this, but it is the logical conclusion!)

It is suggested that, during about the sixth century C.E., the ten tribes of the Assyrian captivity migrated across Europe. Allegedly, they were known as the Scythians during Christ's time. They became known as the Sacae, and finally as Saxons (Anglo-Saxons). Invading Britain in the sixth centuries from Germany, it is said that they made Britain the new Israel.

 

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE JEWISH COMMUNITIES HAVE NO RECORD OF THIS.

 

The History and early leaders of this movement:

One of the main teachers of this doctrine is Richard Brothers, (who claimed to be the 'Nephew of the Almighty') published his book A Revealed Knowledge of the Prophecies and Times (1794). Brothers was, as one source puts it, "a Canadian madman". He became troubled by visions, and said that the British parliament was the 'beast' of Revelation. Brothers believed he was a descendant of King David, and that only he had the right to be king of England. Unfortunately for him, King George III disagreed. Brothers was confined in a mental asylum from 1795-1806. Despite this, and the failure of his prophecy that Jerusalem would be restored to the Hebrews in 1798, his movement flourished.

The Tanach had a simple solution with false prophets STONE THEM.

 

People

The English are not Hebrews, Jews, or Israelites, but Northern European mixed with Scandinavians.

Jews are Semetic, from the middle east. The English are Anglo Saxon (Racially different)

In other words, genetically, the Anglo-Saxons are simply a different race to the Jews.

"Tacitus (a Roman historian) reports that the only kind of history known to [the Anglo-Saxon's] 1st century Germanic ancestors was ancient songs about gods and heroes". And nothing about worshiping the L-RD G-D.

 

Language

English [the modern Anglo-Saxon language] is a branch of the Aryan stock of languages, and has no connection with Hebrew". Hebrew A Semetic language(Related to Arabic).

Look at the Names of the Bible and the English / Irish Names. A world of difference.

It might be just a small point that I am raising, but nevertheless these groups always claim that the blessings that God promised to the Jewish people was transfered to them, BUT never the curses!!. God Blessed the Jewish people but also mentioned the curses that came with disobients. Blessings and curses are part and parcell of the covenants of Moses & Yeshua (Jesus), they cannot be separated.

 

My points is they want the blessing, but the curses are still for the Jews. This is discusting and I hope that you will be honest. A Jew is a Jew a Gentile is a Gentile, Spiritual Israel are those believers in Messiah Yeshua that are both part of Israel (by birth) and part of the Body of Messiah (Church) (by theology). Gentiles become part of the Body of Messiah the same way Jews do. For in Messiah Yeshua there is neither Jew nor Gentile, (what Paul is saying is that in maters of SALVATION [justification by faith) it makes no iota difference whether you are MALE or FEMALE, Free or SLAVE, JEW or GENTILE,), what Paul is not saying is that there are no more females or males (I happen to be a male and hapely married to a female!) neither did the Jewish people disapear just because the Body of Messiah was created! But that is a whole differet topic.

 

Please look and watch and pray.

Do no follow false theological systems. Read the Bible as is. And do not accept "strange" doctrine that sound good, but accept the plain "old" truth of the good news. (Besorah - Gospel).

 

Dear All

What these people believe is a form of replacement theology, nowhere in the scripture's that UK or the US or Australia or New Zealand, Canada, etc etc.... (read white anglo / saxon / celtic supremecy white theology), is going to REPLACE Israel. The scriptures that are mentioned are not supporting this theology.

But must be twisted and words (nations) added.

 

Please follow the golden rule:

If the scripture makes plain sense seek no other sense.
